Mas Nadiem merupakan sosok paling krusial dalam mengatasi dan mempertahankan berjalannya sistem pendidikan selama wabah Covid-19. Kebijakannya juga membuka peluang bagi guru-guru junior dan minim jaringan (seperti saya) untuk mengembangkan diri secara optimal, melampaui batas usia dan membangun jaringan pendidikan yang luas. Dengan seleksi yang terpusat (tidak melalui birokrasi daerah), alhamdulillah, saya mendapat kesempatan untuk mengikuti berbagai kegiatan yang diselenggarakan oleh kementerian.

Lebih dari sekadar penanganan pandemi, kebijakan beliau juga membuka pintu kesempatan yang luas bagi guru-guru junior yang minim jaringan. Melalui sistem yang lebih inklusif, setiap pengajar kini memiliki peluang untuk mengembangkan diri secara optimal tanpa terhambat oleh batasan usia. Hal ini memicu semangat baru bagi para pendidik muda untuk terus berinovasi dan membangun jejaring pendidikan yang lebih luas dan solid di seluruh penjuru negeri.

Salah satu terobosan yang paling terasa manfaatnya adalah penerapan sistem seleksi terpusat yang memangkas birokrasi daerah yang berbelit. Berkat transparansi dan efisiensi sistem ini, saya pribadi mendapatkan kesempatan berharga untuk mengikuti berbagai program pengembangan kompetensi langsung dari kementerian. Sistem yang adil ini memastikan bahwa prestasi dan potensi individu menjadi tolok ukur utama bagi guru untuk terus berkembang.

Kami jadi melek teknologi sejak Mas Nadiem jadi menteri. Saya juga sdh mengikuti UTBK PPG Guru Tertentu. Memahami IT satu kompetensi utama saat ini. Doa saya selalu untuk Mas Nadiem dan para profesional seperti Mas Ibam agar bisa bebas dari semua tuduhan. Sebagai guru saya miris dan prihatin kalau sampai anak2 bangsa yg cerdas dan berpotensi seperti Mas Nadiem dan Mas Ibam tidak mau berbakti untuk negara sebagai pengambil keputusan karena takut dikriminalisasikan. Mau jadi apa negara ini tanpa anak2 muda yg mau memajukannya.

Masih ingat saat itu sekitar tahun 2023, saya terpilih untuk mengikuti pelatihan di Jakarta bersama guru-guru hebat lainnya seluruh Indonesia. Ini merupakan kesempatan yang sangat berharga, karena selama lebih dari 20 tahun saya mengajar, hampir tidak pernah terpilih mengikuti pelatihan di pusat. Setelah datang ke Jakarta, saya baru tahu kalau pemilihan peserta berdasarkan keaktifan di PMM. Akhirnya, saya merasakan pemilihan peserta pelatihan sungguh adil melalui PMM. Saya memang sangat aktif menggunakan PMM untuk belajar mandiri baik meningkatkan skill sebagai guru, ,maupun mempelajari Kurikulum Merdeka. Perkenalkan, saya adalah Kepala SD & Anggota Dewan Pendidikan Kabupaten Kediri.

Berawal dari Guru di salah satu SD Negeri di Kediri, sekolah saya adalah penerima bantuan Chromebook. Saya Aktif melatih puluhan guru se-Kabupaten Kediri untuk pemanfaatan Chromebook dalam pembelajaran.

Kini Saya fokus mendorong transformasi digital sekolah dan memberi masukan kebijakan pendidikan berbasis pengalaman lapangan. Tentunya dengan memanfaatkan chromebook dan mendorong guru-guru agar terus belajar dan aktif memanfaatkannya

Saya adalah Kepala Sekolah di salah satu Kota Palu Sulawesi Tengah Sebagai Kepala Sekolah Saya terus berbenah Alhamdulillah dengan adanya bantuan crombook tahun 2022 perlahan kami menerapkan pembelajaran digital dengan menggunakan Chromebook. Saya melakukan pelatihan di sekolah mendampingi dan mendukung penuh guru-guru untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan crombook yang berdampak langsung pada kualitas hasil pembelajaran peserta didik di SD Inpres 3 Birobuli siswa belajar lebih efektif dan inovatif. Ini adalah upaya saya untuk mencerdaskan anak2 di SD kami dengan menciptakan generasi emas yang melek teknologi dan berwawasan luas. Terima kasih mas Nadiem yang sudah dari awal membantu kami dengan crombook ini.

Sekolah mendapatkan bantuan croomebook tgl 22 Oktober 2021vdan peran saya sebagai penanggung jawab di Sekolah baik dalam penggunaan, perawatan , fungsi dll. Saya mendapatkan pelatihan tingkat nasional dan provinsi dalam pemanfaatan croomebook dan mentransformasikan kepada guru di Sekolah sehingga croomebook bisa dimaksimalkan penggunaan adapun manfaat yang didapat adalah sekolah memiliki lab komputer, bisa melaksanakan Asesmen Nasional Berbasis Komputer secara mandiri yg sebelumnya menumpang ke sekolah lain, P5 memilih tema berkreasi dengan teknologi agar murid bisa berinovasi memanfaatkan CB dengan karyanya, digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran yg membuat murid semangat dan interaktif dalam pembelajaran, selain itu juga CB dipakai guru untuk mengikuti pelatihan daring dan program dlm peningkatan kompetensinya sehingga CB di sekolah benar-benar dimanfaatkan dan digunakan secara maksimal sehingga berdampak untuk kemajuan sekolah.

Kami menunjukkan komitmen kuat dalam pemanfaatan Chromebook sebagai bagian dari transformasi digital pendidikan di SMA PGRI Larangan sejak tahun 2021 hingga sekarang. Ia secara aktif mengawal implementasi dan integrasi Chromebook dalam pembelajaran, pengelolaan kinerja guru, serta tata kelola sekolah secara berkelanjutan.

Di bawah kepemimpinannya, Chromebook dimanfaatkan secara konsisten dalam berbagai aktivitas pembelajaran, mulai dari penyusunan perangkat ajar, akses sumber belajar digital, pelaksanaan asesmen, hingga pembelajaran interaktif di kelas. Guru dan siswa terbiasa memanfaatkan teknologi, sehingga meningkatkan keterlibatan dan kualitas pembelajaran.

Pada aspek manajerial, Chromebook mendukung pengelolaan kinerja guru yang lebih transparan dan berbasis data, memudahkan supervisi akademik, serta mempercepat administrasi sekolah. Perangkat ini juga dimanfaatkan dalam rekrutmen dan pengembangan guru, termasuk pelaksanaan program Guru Penggerak.

Selain itu, saya rpibadi mendorong terbentuknya budaya belajar berbasis teknologi di lingkungan sekolah. Dengan demikian, Chromebook tidak hanya menjadi fasilitas pendukung, tetapi menjadi bagian integral dari transformasi pembelajaran.

Pemanfaatan ini memberikan dampak positif berupa peningkatan efektivitas pembelajaran, kompetensi digital guru, serta terwujudnya ekosistem pendidikan yang adaptif, inovatif, dan berkelanjutan.

Sejak awal kasus ini, kami berasa sedihnya ga habis2, padahal biasanya kalau ada pejabat ditangkap krn kasus korupsi, Kami ga pernah mau ambil pusing, tapi beda saat dengan Mas Nadiem, doa kami selalu. Kami ingin bs membantu Mas Nadiem, Kami ingin juga mendukung selalu beliau.

Sudah bnyk kebijakan, program, bantuan selama beliau menjabat dulu. Di papua yang pelosok pun juga terkna dengan kebijakan Mas Nadiem. tikda benar jika program-program mas Nadiem itu tidak bermanfaat, termasuk penggunaan chromebook.

Chromebook di sini betul-betul terpakai. Guru dan murid, semua menggunakan. Hanya sekolah yang memang tidak peduli, tidak mau maju, yang tidak menggunakan chromebook itu.

Kini saya sudah purna tapi kenangan pertemuan dengan mas mentri juga dengan teman teman sesama penggerak tak dapat saya lupakan sampai sekarang. Juga terdapat fitur Komunitas yang dapat dipergunakan berbagi ilmu pendidikan kepada seluruh guru se-Indonesia.

Sejak ada chromebook, ujian online seperti ANBK menjadi sangat mudah dilaksanakan kami.

Sekolah sudah tidak perlu mencari-cari bantuan atau meminjam laptop ke sekolah lain, sehingga ujian pun berjalan lancar.

selain itu, data juga terintegrasi dengan mudah dan aman untuk diakses tentunya.

Banyak manfaat lainnya juga tentunya selain ujian

Pada tahun 2022, pertama kalinya saya menginjakkan kaki di Jakarta sebagai guru, yang mengikuti pelatihan dan bertemu dengan banyak guru hebat dari berbagai kota di Indoensia. Pengalaman ini mendorong saya dan memotivasi saya ketika kembali ke sekolah untuk bisa memberikan yang terbaik bagi anak-anak murid.

Selama Mas Nadiem menjabat, saya merasa sebagai guru lebih dihargai. Karena, saya mendapatkan akses ke pelatihan yang diadakan di pusat yang selama ini tidak pernah saya ikuti. Saya merasa apa yang saya lakukan selama menjadi guru tidak sia-sia, karena dari keaktifan saya menggunakan PMM saya bisa mengikuti pelatihan di Jakarta dan menambah banyak teman guru terbaik di seluruh Indonesia.

Sebagai guru penggerak, saya merasa bisa menjadi guru yang lebih “bernyawa” dalam menjalankan peran di kelas maupun di lingkungan sekolah. Ada semangat baru yang tumbuh, bukan hanya sekadar mengajar, tetapi benar-benar hadir untuk membersamai proses belajar murid dengan lebih sadar dan bermakna.

Saya juga merasakan dukungan yang kuat untuk terus mengembangkan diri. Berbagai kesempatan belajar terbuka, sekaligus mempertemukan saya dengan guru-guru hebat dari berbagai sekolah, baik di tingkat kabupaten maupun provinsi. Dari sana, saya belajar banyak perspektif baru, praktik baik, dan inspirasi yang memperkaya cara saya mengajar.

Jejaring guru ini menjadi hal yang sebelumnya sulit saya dapatkan, padahal dampaknya sangat besar. Melalui koneksi dan kolaborasi ini, saya tidak lagi berjalan sendiri. Ada ruang untuk saling menguatkan, berbagi, dan tumbuh bersama, demi memberikan pengalaman belajar terbaik bagi anak-anak yang kita dampingi.

Chrome Book bisa membantu saya mengkatrol kemampuan dalam merancang pembelajaran berbasis digital. Anak-anak mendapat pengalaman baru dalam mendapat pembelajaran, dan lebih interaktif.

Dengan adanya 5 Chrome Book yang diberikan kepada sekolah kami, sangat membantu dalam proses pembelajaran jarak jauh di sekolah.

Dulu PAda zaman covid, Program pembelajaran jarak jauh menjadi jauh lebih terbantu dan efektif. Siswa dapat mengikuti kegiatan belajar secara daring dengan lebih mudah, mengakses materi pembelajaran, mengerjakan tugas, serta berinteraksi dengan guru tanpa hambatan berarti.

hadirnya Chromebook pada saat itu juga membuat pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dan interaktif, sehingga semangat belajar siswa tetap terjaga meskipun dilakukan dari jarak jauh.

Dengan adanya Chromebook di kelas, saya merasa punya cara baru untuk menjawab rasa penasaran anak-anak yang seringkali tidak terwadahi hanya dari buku pelajaran konvensional. Saya bisa mengajak mereka mengeksplorasi berbagai hal secara langsung—mulai dari melihat video pembelajaran, menjelajah informasi dari berbagai sumber, hingga mengenal dunia luar yang sebelumnya terasa jauh. Dalam prosesnya, saya tidak hanya mengajar, tapi juga mendampingi mereka belajar dengan lebih kontekstual, sehingga pembelajaran terasa lebih hidup, bermakna, dan dekat dengan realitas yang mereka ingin pahami.

Dulu, saya harus membawa anak-anak ke kota untuk mengikuti ANBK dan kegiatan ini membuat anak-anak harus mengeluarkan uang untuk biaya transport. Setelah ada ChromeBook, anak-anak bisa fokus ujian tanpa memikirkan biaya dan mobilisasi ke tempat yang jauh.

Selama Nadiem menjabat, saya merasakan adanya ikhtiar kemajuan pendidikan di Indonesia dengan beragam perubahan yang dibuat, salah satunya dengan adanya Platform Merdeka Mengajar. Melalui platform tersebut, guru tidak lagi harus menunggu undangan atau penunjukan dinas untuk bisa mengikuti pelatihan yang berkualitas. Guru cukup mengakses pelatihan yang tersedia di dalam platform, dan dapat dipelajari kapanpun sesuai waktu yang dimiliki. Saya yakin, dengan itikad baik tersebut Nadiem berada pada jalur yang benar dan memiliki integritas yang bisa dipertanggung jawabkan.

Program pendidikan guru penggerak menjadi program yang sangat baik pada jaman mas Nadiem sebagai menteri pendidikan. Program ini mengeksplor potensi yang dimiliki setiap guru untuk kemudian bergerak memberikan dampak positif bagi kemajuan pendidikan.

Melalui program ini akhirnya dapat memberikan layanan yang lebih baik kepada murid melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, membuat kesepakatan kelas, sampai melakukan coaching kepada murid. Program pendidikan guru penggerak memberikan sangat banyak manfaat bagi kami guru-guru.

Digitalisasi pendidikan bukan lagi sekadar wacana, tetapi sebuah kebutuhan nyata di sekolah kami. Kehadiran Chromebook menjadi salah satu langkah penting yang membawa perubahan positif, baik bagi guru maupun siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

Pada tahun 2020, sekolah kami menerima bantuan berupa 6 unit laptop untuk wali kelas. Bantuan ini menjadi awal yang baik dalam pemanfaatan teknologi di sekolah. Namun, dalam penggunaannya, laptop tersebut masih memiliki beberapa kendala, terutama dari segi kecepatan. Proses booting yang memakan waktu lebih dari 5 menit, serta aplikasi yang lambat saat dibuka, seringkali menghambat kelancaran pembelajaran.

Kemudian pada tahun 2021, sekolah kami mendapatkan bantuan Chromebook. Sejak saat itu, terjadi perubahan yang cukup signifikan. Chromebook terasa lebih ringan, cepat, dan responsif. Guru tidak perlu menunggu lama untuk mulai mengajar, sehingga waktu pembelajaran dapat dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Perlahan, laptop yang sebelumnya digunakan kini mulai ditinggalkan karena kalah praktis dibandingkan Chromebook.

Dampaknya sangat terasa di kelas. Siswa menjadi lebih antusias, lebih aktif, dan lebih terbiasa menggunakan teknologi secara positif. Pembelajaran menjadi lebih interaktif, tidak hanya berpusat pada buku, tetapi juga memanfaatkan berbagai sumber digital yang menarik.

Bagi guru, Chromebook juga memberikan kemudahan dalam mengelola pembelajaran. Mulai dari menyiapkan materi, memberikan tugas, hingga melakukan penilaian dapat dilakukan dengan lebih praktis dan cepat. Hal ini tentu mendukung terciptanya pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan bermakna.

Kehadiran Chromebook bukan hanya tentang perangkat, tetapi tentang perubahan cara belajar dan mengajar. Dari yang sebelumnya terhambat oleh keterbatasan teknis, kini bertransformasi menjadi pembelajaran yang lebih dinamis, efisien, dan menyenangkan.

Dengan segala manfaat yang dirasakan, Chromebook benar-benar menjadi salah satu kunci dalam mewujudkan digitalisasi di sekolah kami. Sebuah langkah kecil yang membawa dampak besar bagi masa depan pendidikan.

Harapan sederhana yang bisa menjadi tantangan tersulit abad ini, konsistensi yang dapat saya lakukan;

1. Mengaitkan pembelajaran dengan pengalaman sehari hari mereka.
2. Selalu melibatkan mereka dengan cara saya, seringkali saya terapkan mengintegrasikan pembelajaran dengan permainan, interaksi positif, diskusi, eksperimen sederhana untuk memancing rasa ingin tahu mereka.
3. Menyajikan informasi untuk mereka analisis dan meminta kesimpulan.
4. Selalu membuka ruang pertanyaan dan meminta untuk mencari jawabannya.
5. Memberikan tantangan dan penalaran sesuai porsi masing2.
6. Memberikan dukungan ataupun pengakuan atas usahanya.
7. Melibatkan orang tua dirumah untuk memberi dukungan dalam proses belajar.


Semua itu salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan teknologi, yaitu cromebook. Adanya cromebook ini membantu proses pendidikan lebih cepat dan mudah.

Pemanfaatan Chromebook di sekolah kami membuka peluang besar dalam pengembangan inovasi pembelajaran, salah satunya melalui pembuatan aplikasi INDARA yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi peserta didik. Dengan dukungan perangkat yang praktis, cepat, dan terintegrasi dengan berbagai platform digital, proses perancangan hingga pengembangan aplikasi dapat dilakukan dengan lebih efektif dan kolaboratif oleh guru maupun siswa. Chromebook membantu kami mengakses sumber belajar, menyusun konten interaktif, hingga menguji aplikasi secara langsung dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Kami sangat bersyukur dan berterima kasih atas hadirnya Chromebook di sekolah kami, karena telah menjadi jembatan lahirnya kreativitas dan solusi nyata dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Hari ini kami SDN. Blaban III sebagai penerima manfaat dari perangkat chrome book ini akan mendeskripsikan bagaimana dampak positif yang diperoleh ḍari penggunaanya
1. Media interaktif
Chrome Book selama ini oleh guru dan murid telah dimanfaatkan sebagai media interaktif. Guru sejak memperoleh fasilitas CB telah mengplikasikan beberapa fitur-fitur yang terintegrasi didalamnya untuk pembelajaran di kelas atau di luar kelas. Para guru menggunakan media-media digital seperti halnya google form untuk asesmen, google doc sebagai materi dan media i teraktif lainnya seperti quzizizz, kahoot dan canva.

2.Media pengembangan kompetensi digital
Keberadaan chrome book selama ini memiliki sisi positif yang berpengaruh besar dalam peningkatan kompetensi digital guru dan murid. Sebagian besar bahkan terbilang semuanya guru di sekolah mampu mengoperasikannya untuk kebutuhan pendidikan. Selain itu para murid dengan semangat dan bahagianya ketika bisa menggunakan media yang telah difasilitasi mas menteri ini disaat pembelajaran.
Mereka dapat mengasah berlatih skill mengetik, skill koneksi internet, skill pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan google meet.

Tahun lalu menjelang HGN, melalui Chromebook di kelas, murid-murid diminta membuat kartu ucapan Hari Guru menggunakan Canva AI melalui chromebook, sehingga mereka belajar banyak hal mulai dari berkreasi, menuangkan rasa terima kasih, hingga menggunakan teknologi untuk menyampaikan pesan yang bermakna.

Dengan Chromebook, murid bisa membuat desain kartu ucapan yang menarik, memilih kata-kata terbaik, dan mengekspresikan rasa terima kasih kami kepada para guru dengan cara yang lebih kreatif. tentunya dengan adanya crombook ini, kami merasa senang karena teknologi di sekolah tidak hanya membantu dalam pelajaran, tetapi juga membantu murid dalam menyampaikan apresiasi kepada guru-guru.

Dulu saya pernah bertugas sebagai pelatih dalam kegiatan pemanfaatan Chromebook bagi guru-guru di Sulawesi Selatan, saya merasakan langsung semangat belajar yang luar biasa dari para peserta. Sejak awal sesi, para guru terlihat antusias mencoba berbagai platform pembelajaran yang dapat diakses melalui Chromebook. Mereka saling berdiskusi, bertanya, dan bereksplorasi untuk menemukan cara-cara baru agar pembelajaran di kelas menjadi lebih menarik dan bermakna bagi murid. Bagi saya pribadi, kehadiran Chromebook sangat membantu proses pelatihan ini. Perangkat tersebut memudahkan para guru untuk langsung mempraktikkan berbagai fitur dan aplikasi yang dapat mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar. Saya pun merasa bersyukur, karena melalui pemanfaatan teknologi ini, para guru semakin percaya diri untuk menghadirkan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif, relevan, dan dekat dengan kebutuhan murid di era digital.

Awal tahun 2026 saya teringat kisah perjalanan waktu kurikulum Merdeka dan Platform Merdeka mengajar episode ke 15 Tahun 2022, Dimana saya gigih belajar tanpa Lelah tentang kurikulum Merdeka, P5 dan membuat Komunitas belajar yang akhirnya saya banyak terlibat aktif dalam program yang diluncurkan Kemendikbudristek, terasa langsung bagi guru se Indonesia yang memang aktif belajar waktu itu , walaupun semua itu sekarang tinggal kenangan tidak menyurutkan saya untuk terus belajar dan kolaborasi demi mewujudkan Pendidikan bermutu untuk semua.

Saya pertama kali melaksanakan ANBK (Asesmen Nasional Berbasis Komputer) pada tahun 2021, dimana sekolah keterbatasan sarpras sehingga pelaksanan ANBK harus menumpang ke Sekolah lain di kota dengan biaya tambahan untuk biaya sewa laptop dll.

Lain waktu, sekolah saya akhirnya melaksanakan ANBK secara mandiri dan menggunakan Croome Book saat proses pembelajaran sehingga bisa meningkatkan motivasi belajar murid, guru pun juga disaat jam istirahat belajar mandiri di Platform Merdeka Mengajar.

Banyak sekali dampak dan manfaat dengan bantuan Chrome Book , bagi murid Akses sumber belajar yang luas, lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan serta meningkatkan kemampuan bidang IT dll, bagi guru akses pengajaran on line lebih mudah dan bisa dipakai untuk segala pekerjaan sekolah, sejak adanya bantuan Crome Book dari Kemendikbudristek sangat terasa dampak dan manfaatnya.

Sy biasanya di kelas memanfaatkan Chromebook untuk membuat kegiatan “Belajar Asyik dengan Komik ” sebagai bentuk asesmen alternatif yang menyenangkan. Chromebook memiliki fitur Aksesibilitas sehingga menjadikannya sebagai perangkat yang inklusif karena dapat digunakan oleh orang-orang berkebutuhan khusus. Menggunakan belajar.id menjadikan chromebook lebih keren lagi. Karena apa? Chromebook dengan belajar.id menjadikan perangkat tersebut memiliki kontrol untuk memfilter konten-konten yang bisa diakses. Dengan belajar.id maka konten-konten yang tidak berbaur pendidikan akan terfilter. Hal ini menjadikan penggunaan chromebook salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang lebih ramah anak. Denggan chromebook anak-anak akan terhindar dari paparan pornografi, Judi Online dan situs-situs lain yang tidak sesuai dengan pendidikan. Waktu penggunaan Chromebook juga dapat dibatasi dan di kontrol sehingga orang tua maupun guru tidak perlu kuatir jika murid atau anak kebanyakan bermain. Banyak guru yang pernah saya fasilitasi dalam pelatihan merasa bahwa penggunaan chromebook sangat membantu dalam penbelajaran. Banyak testimoni positif baik dari guru maupun murid tentang pemanfaatan chromebook. For me, the high-quality reading book utilization program initiated during Nadiem Makarim's leadership represents a tangible step that brings significant changes in the literacy world in Indonesia. Moreover, through the Merdeka Belajar Episode 23 policy: Quality Reading Books for Indonesian Literacy, I feel a strong push not only to be a program user but also to be a literacy mover in my environment.

This program is not just about distributing books; it is a movement to build a vibrant literacy ecosystem. Field facts show that many Indonesian children still do not have access to quality reading materials. Therefore, the presence of this program becomes very important as an effort to equalize learning opportunities and improve literacy quality nationally.

My assistance experience further strengthened this when I received 1,000 books from Teras Baca Agmarani, which I manage. Although our school has not yet received book assistance from the government because literacy capabilities in the education report are already reasonably good, I see the assistance as a great opportunity to continue developing literacy, not as a reason to stop moving.

I make maximum use of these books by integrating them into learning. I read books on the topic being studied, so students feel that reading is not just a task, but a need relevant to their lives. From here, I began to see real changes: students were more enthusiastic about reading, actively discussing, and able to connect the content of the readings with their daily experiences.

More than that, Episode 23 policy makes me more consistent in promoting literacy, both in school and in the community. I realize this spirit through various literacy activities, including managing Teras Baca Agmarani as a shared learning space. This consistency also led me to the opportunity to participate in the selection of the literacy activist Indonesia along with SLI (Sahabat Literasi Indonesia), and I am grateful to have been selected and recognized as one of the literacy activists in society.

The most significant impact I feel is the change in the reading culture among students. They began to read without being instructed by the teacher. Books are no longer considered a burden, but as learning friends. I have proven this through various activities at school and good practices in learning that utilize quality reading books. The literacy ecosystem at school becomes more vibrant—seen from the reading habits, more meaningful discussions, and the active involvement of students in literacy activities.

In my opinion, support for this program needs to be continuously strengthened by all parties. Teachers as drivers, communities as supporters, and policies as reinforcers must work together. My experience shows that when books are present and used correctly, the impact not only enhances reading skills but also shapes character and the way students think.

My perspective is simple: high-quality reading books are transformation tools. When utilized contextually and integrated into learning, books can naturally foster a love for reading. And when that love grows, literacy will become a culture, not just a program. I proved this when carrying out the pancasila learner profile strengthening project initiated by Gencerling with the topic Aksi Cilik Jaga Air, receiving the best version of material delivery through the use of quality reading books in 2024, where the program was initiated in 2024.

I believe that from small spaces like classrooms and reading gardens, the Indonesian literacy movement can grow big. And it all starts with one simple thing: placing the right book in the right hands, and a teacher who keeps moving to make changes.

The Chromebook assists students in the implementation of TKA by facilitating their access to questions and allowing them to take exams digitally. In March, students utilized the Chromebook to participate in a TKA rehearsal event as preparation before the actual implementation. Through this activity, students could practice using the device more smoothly, understand the exam flow, and enhance their readiness to ensure the TKA implementation proceeds successfully and without obstacles.

During Nadiem Makarim's leadership as the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, various digital platforms were launched to assist teachers in utilizing technology in learning. When the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, the learning process continued remotely (online) through various digital applications such as the Merdeka Mengajar Platform, Google Meet, Zoom, Google Classroom, and most popularly and familiarly among many, WhatsApp.
A significant transformation occurred as well. Teachers who were previously not familiar with technology (technologically challenged) gradually became tech-savvy. The enthusiasm of teachers to learn independently increased, giving rise to the figure of a learning teacher across various regions. They compete to hone their digital skills not due to compulsion, but driven by the awareness of the importance of change.
The presence of the Merdeka Curriculum, Merdeka Mengajar, and Merdeka Belajar is concrete evidence of learning that is student-centered and aligned with the demands of the times. The hope is that this transformation continues so that the quality of education in Indonesia becomes more advanced and equitable.

The Mobilizing Teacher Program Policy was conceived and launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia under the leadership of Minister Nadiem Makarim in July 2020 as part of the fifth episode of the Freedom to Learn initiative. This program aims to nurture learning leaders. Its recruitment process is open, allowing anyone to register, starting from the step-by-step registration process to the training process that strengthens the teacher's role as a learning leader. There are many crucial points that are very beneficial for me as a teacher. This Mobilizing Teacher education process then creates space for me, as a teacher in a village, to spread goodness or, in other terms, "share good practices." To me, the concept of freedom in learning is not merely about freedom in learning itself but is about providing space for students to grow. This is also reinforced in the mobilizing teacher education program. Regardless of the term often being twisted by others, the mobilizing teacher program has given me room to grow to this day.

Students’ activities at school are now more interesting with technology-based learning. We utilize Chromebook as a learning medium in the classroom. Students look more enthusiastic when learning because they can see material in a clearer and more interactive way. They also become more active, enjoy trying new things, and do not get bored quickly during lessons.

Since using Chromebook, the teaching and learning process has become more enjoyable and effective. Students find it easier to understand the material given by the teacher. Until today, Chromebook is still used because it greatly helps in increasing student enthusiasm and participation in learning. We feel that the use of this technology provides a positive impact on learning activities at school.

The use of Chromebook in our school in Merauke is a real step in encouraging a more inclusive and modern education transformation. With devices that are light, easy to use, and integrated with various digital learning applications, students and teachers now have wider access to quality learning resources. The presence of Chromebook not only improves the efficiency of the learning process but also opens opportunities for the young generation in Merauke to be more ready to face the challenges of the digital world. Support for this initiative is very important so that technology-based education equality can continue to develop up to the frontier regions of Indonesia.

Teachers in remote areas have a great opportunity to contribute independently through various selection schemes organized by the ministry, especially during the leadership of Mr. Nadiem which encourages transformation of education based on flexibility and competence. Through the Merdeka Curriculum, teachers are given space to develop abilities according to their potential and regional context, without having to depend entirely on a rigid system. With this spirit, teachers are not only implementers of policy, but also active agents of change who improve the quality of learning, strengthen their own competence, and play a role in creating education that is more relevant and equitable up to remote areas.

Guru Penggerak has changed my path of struggle, from a teacher with ordinary routines into a learning leader. Carrying the mandate as a principal at a young age and successfully passing the supervisor competency test is a form of my commitment that never fades for education. Now, I continue to move and wait for the time to expand my space of service.

I feel that the policies implemented by Mr. Nadiem in the field of education in Indonesia are truly remarkable, particularly in the digitalization of education based on technology. In this digital era, technology has become an essential part of the teaching and learning process. One tool that has become a student’s companion in the digital age is the Chromebook. Thank God, we have experienced tremendous benefits after receiving assistance from Minister Nadiem Makarim, supported by Google. The Chromebook is certainly specially designed for educators and students, making it easy to use and beneficial. The significant benefit we have noticed is during the implementation of ANBK and TKA nowadays. With the Chromebook, we no longer have to struggle to prepare devices for implementation, and students are already very familiar and accustomed to using it.

Before the existence of PMM (Platform Merdeka Mengajar), all teachers were complacent in their comfort zones without developing themselves. It turns out that the world has changed so much, with many new aspects related to education that need to be learned. PMM is the right platform for learn and relearn. This is evident in activities related to the introduction of national insight and bullying prevention that I conducted during practical action in PMM. Its innovation is extraordinary. Since I was 7 years old until I am now 43 years old, there has never been a breakthrough in the world of education like the ones initiated by the Minister.

One of the positive aspects of Nadiem Makarim's various positive policies is the wide availability of quality training for teachers, which is evenly distributed and free (no charges). In the era of Nadiem Makarim, all teachers have equal opportunities to participate in quality training that meets their needs, without incurring any costs. We, teachers who are located far from the capital city, have the same rights to participate in government programs or training directly through national selection (not through an appointment system, connections with certain parties, or affiliations with specific groups). Teachers from various regions are challenged and embraced to receive the same material directly from national speakers. This serves as a motivation for teachers to continually upgrade themselves and share with fellow teachers. Additionally, all teachers can learn independently through official learning channels and can share with other teacher colleagues. Thus, learning and sharing activities are not limited to certain individuals with predetermined expenses by specific parties.

Several points of support and facts we observed. In the past, teacher training was limited and formal. Through the Independent Training feature in PMM, our teachers can learn anytime and anywhere. This greatly assists us in independently understanding the Merdeka Curriculum. The Proof of Work feature provides a space for us to showcase educational innovations. This aligns with the spirit of the community I established, where we inspire each other and upload our digital works to PMM. The integrated Education Report feature makes it easier for me as a school leader to make decisions based on real data, not mere assumptions. PMM enables our teachers to connect with millions of other educators. This proves that digital transformation is key to catching up with the quality of education.

The use of Chromebooks in new schools continues to be beneficial. Despite limited network connectivity, Chromebooks are particularly helpful for students in remote areas. We use them in co-curricular activities, where they help students complete good practices related to the 7 habits of great Indonesian children.

I am an alumnus of Guru Penggerak batch 10 in North Barito Regency. During my training, Chromebook was a tool that greatly helped me in completing all tasks. I felt very helped by using this Chromebook. It has many advantages, one of them is its long-lasting battery, easy operation, and durability.

In the policies that Mr. Nadiem has implemented so far, I really feel an extraordinary impact during my time as an honorary teacher at TK Kartika where I work. The policy that I really feel is the Platform Merdeka Mengajar application that he launched, for a teacher who has limitations to attend training where offline training is usually given opportunities by the education office to certain teachers or only nearby teachers, but with the Platform Merdeka Mengajar application all teachers, both honorary and civil servant teachers, all feel the same opportunity to learn through the application. Personally, I do not feel forced to continue learning in using the application to increase my insight, so there are many new things and useful knowledge that I get. After I teach, I open the application and understand several things that I did not yet know, one of them is about guidance and counseling for early childhood, I learned that through the Platform Merdeka Mengajar application. It turns out that in the application what Mr. Nadiem did was to see how far the teacher wants to learn and provide opportunities to be invited offline to teachers who are active in using it without being forced or told.

So I personally got the opportunity to go to Jakarta even though I am an honorary teacher, I could feel going to Jakarta funded by the government to learn directly and facilitated by the Ministry of Education with great people. Alhamdulillah, after returning from the training from Jakarta I could pass on the activities to the communities that I manage in the Pariaman city area, especially also for teacher learning groups in KKG and in schools so that Pariaman city, especially for kindergarten, has progressed and is in line with the times. How I motivate fellow teachers to continue learning and improving their abilities so that later teachers can provide the best starting from facilities and services to children in schools without differentiating the children. Then for me personally, actually the Platform Merdeka Mengajar application here we can see together that we can know which teachers really want to learn seriously and which do not, we can see the percentage of teachers who want to learn and which do not, and we can also see which teachers are truly sincere in teaching and which are not. And create webinars through PMM without using any cost at all. We teachers become active and share with each other without having to leave the classroom at all. I do it sincerely so that all teachers have the same vision of making the future generation a generation that is great, independent, has character, honest, has noble character and full of responsibility.

As an elementary school teacher, I have directly experienced several positive changes in education during the leadership of Nadiem Makarim. The programs introduced during that time have provided more space for teachers to learn, grow, and improve their teaching methods in the classroom. One example is the Platform Merdeka Mengajar. Through this platform, I have been able to learn many new things, see examples of teaching materials from other teachers, and gain ideas for lessons that can be directly applied in the classroom. For me, this helps teachers continue to develop without having to leave their teaching responsibilities.

In addition, teacher education programs have become more structured. They are no longer just about obtaining a teaching certificate, but truly encourage teachers to improve their qualifications and competencies as educators. Programs such as Guru Penggerak also create space for teachers to learn about instructional leadership and become agents of change in their schools. As a teacher working in the field, I see that these various programs and policies have a clear objective of strengthening the quality of teachers and learning. As the initiator of these policies, I believe he understands the direction and steps to be achieved through these education programs, so that teachers are gradually guided through a dark path toward a brighter future for education.

Guru Penggerak: Not Just Training, but a “Rebranding” of the Role
Many people assume the Guru Penggerak Program (PGP) is just another seminar. In reality, it is a strategic pipeline for recruiting future education leaders.

A Little-Known Fact: PGP graduates now have a “fast track” to becoming school principals and supervisors, in line with Permendikbudristek No. 40/2021. This policy aims to break the old pattern of appointing principals based on political considerations or mere seniority.

From my own experience, having joined the 4th cohort of PGP (2021–2022), which at the time was the longest-running cohort up to cohort 11, the program had a tangible impact. In 2023, I graduated from PPG (Teacher Professional Education) and experienced a simplified process: the main requirement was simply submitting an activity report.

1. Pedagogical Transformation: Differentiated Learning
Teachers are trained in Differentiated Learning, an approach where instruction is tailored to each student’s ability, rather than forcing all students to learn in the same way. New Paradigm: Teachers are no longer the “authority of the classroom,” but facilitators who serve the needs of students. To this day, Guru Penggerak alumni strive to become the kind of teachers students aspire to have. They consistently conduct early assessments before the learning process begins, enabling them to adapt instruction to students’ actual learning needs in the classroom.

2. Digitalization: PMM as a “Teachers’ Learning Space”
Digital transformation is not merely about distributing laptops—it is about building an ecosystem. The emergence of the Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) is key. Support: PMM provides access to high-quality learning materials for teachers in 3T regions (frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped areas), who previously had limited access to in-person training. Field Reality: This digitalization has pushed teachers to “migrate” from manual practices to digital systems (such as performance management in PMM integrated with the national civil service system). While it initially triggered resistance, the long-term goal is to establish a single, accurate national education data system. From my observation, in the early stages many teachers lacked digital literacy and were even hesitant to use laptops. However, over time, especially as I not only taught in class but also mentored fellow teachers in using PMM, significant progress became evident. More teachers are now improving their digital literacy and adapting to technological change.

Chromebook is one of the alternatives that facilitate access in the learning process, especially during exams, particularly ANBK. Chromebook can also facilitate access in the educational world during ANBK, and it plays an important role in helping children. To participate in learning sessions, many continue to use Chromebooks in the learning process. If asked whether it is beneficial or not, Chromebooks are indeed very beneficial and simplify the process.

I once served as an honorary teacher in a public elementary school. For approximately 15 years, I dedicated myself as an honorary committee teacher. During this long journey, my fellow honorary teachers and I have faced various struggles. We continually hope for policy changes that could provide a better future for honorary teachers.

For years, we waited for an opportunity to achieve a clearer status. However, for a considerable time, the results we experienced seemed to show no significant change. Feelings of exhaustion, despair, and uncertainty often arose because such long service had yet to provide certainty.

Changes started to be felt when Nadiem Makarim took office as Minister of Education. During his leadership, various new programs emerged in the field of education, one of which is the Educator Mobilizer Program. I decided to participate in this program. Through it, I gained new experiences, knowledge, and the opportunity to develop as an educator.

The Educator Mobilizer Program turned out to open opportunities that I had never imagined before. I received the chance to obtain certification through the Educator Mobilizer pathway. This was very valuable to me after so many years of serving as an honorary teacher.

Moreover, during his tenure as minister, I also felt a growing sense of confidence as a teacher. I felt that teachers like me were given the chance to continue learning and growing. I could collaborate with fellow teachers from various regions in Indonesia through various activities such as the Learning Community and also BERGEMA. Through these activities, I gained many opportunities to travel outside regions, acquire knowledge, and share experiences with other teachers from all corners of the archipelago. This is very precious to me because, even though I am just an ordinary teacher, I feel appreciated and given room to grow.

Not only that, during his leadership, opportunities were also opened for honorary teachers to participate in the ASN PPPK selection. This opportunity was very meaningful to me, as my age no longer allowed me to take the CPNS exam. I participated in the selection with high hopes.

Finally, in 2023, I was officially appointed as ASN PPPK. For me personally, this is not just a change in job status, but also a new hope after years of serving as an honorary committee teacher with various limitations.

This experience made me feel that policies during Nadiem Makarim's leadership have provided real opportunities for many honorary teachers like me to obtain a better future. These programs not only pave the way for career advancement but also build confidence that teachers from anywhere, even the most modest ones, have the chance to learn, grow, and contribute to education in Indonesia.

I wish to share a story about today. Our sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 29 Terusan solemnly and orderly began the Gladi TKA 2026. This two-day activity (Wednesday & Thursday, March 11-12, 2026) is an important step in preparing the children mentally and technically for the main exam. We hope that on this first day, everything runs smoothly, free from network or technical issues. A special note this time is that this year's drill fully utilizes government-provided Chromebooks.

Despite the many dynamics affecting educational digitalization policies, the fact remains that these devices have consistently proven robust and beneficial from ANBK 2024 until now. It is a real solution in the era of "Mas Menteri" Nadiem Anwar Makarim, truly felt by educational units in the regions. May tomorrow's second day of ANBK proceed smoothly without any obstacles.

To be honest, as a teacher in the classroom, I feel greatly assisted. In the past, before there were Chromebooks, digital exams or simulations felt like a nightmare. We had to borrow devices here and there, the loading time was long, and the system often experienced errors.
But now, the story is different:
1. Very Durable & Beneficial: As of today in the year 2026, the devices we received several years ago are still in good condition, although some units have experienced damage, which is a common result of usage. ChromeOS is very lightweight, not easily infected by viruses, and does not become sluggish even though its specifications appear simple.
2. Savior of National Exams: We have passed the 2024 and 2025 ANBK smoothly thanks to this device. And now, as the students face the 2026 TKA (Academic Competency Test), Chromebooks remain our primary "weapon." Imagine if we didn’t have this tool, we might still be busy borrowing parents’ laptops.
3. Real Digitalization: Students now are not just playing games. They have become accustomed to using Google Classroom, creating presentations, and researching study materials on their own. This digitalization is not just a fancy term on television, but a reality on the students’ study desks.

Our Hope for Mr. Nadiem:
Seeing the news affecting Mr. Nadiem, we feel sad and confused. We at school do not understand the political affairs or complicated contracts in Jakarta. What we know and feel is: the equipment is present, it is useful, and its benefits reach the children’s hands. If it is said that this program harms the country, we at schools actually feel "benefited" because, finally, our school has facilities equivalent to those of big city schools. It seems such a pity if a breakthrough that truly changes the way we learn in class has to end with a negative impression like this.

"For us, this Chromebook is a legacy of change. We only hope that the truth will soon be revealed, so that the spirit of educational transformation does not wither just because of legal issues that feel forced."

Learning transformation at SD Inpres 3 Birobuli began following the provision of Chromebook units as interactive learning media. With support from relevant stakeholders and training provided to teachers, the utilization of this technology was gradually integrated into the daily teaching and learning process at school. Teachers began developing materials in the form of digital presentations, educational video content, and interactive learning games and applications, all of which are accessible to students through the designated devices.

Furthermore, Chromebooks make it easier for students to access verified and credible online learning resources, enabling them to expand their learning beyond what is found in textbooks and other standard instructional materials. Teachers can also assign online assignments and provide timely feedback, making the learning process more effective. Students who struggle to understand class material can also independently review the various content stored on their Chromebooks at their own convenience.

With the sustained support and commitment from teachers and students to utilize them optimally and effectively, Chromebooks have proven to be a significant educational asset in supporting the academic development of students at SD Inpres 3 Birobuli and in advancing the broader objective of delivering quality education for the future generation.

Even though students do not have laptops for presentations, Chromebooks have become a solution for us. We utilize Chromebooks for student presentations, accessing the internet, opening editing applications, and for general learning purposes.

In addition to students, teachers also utilize Chromebooks for managing teacher performance records, accessing the internet in general, and for other administrative needs.

Saya ingin bersaksi atas kebaikan Kementerian Pendidikan era Pak Nadiem. Semua program yang diberikan sangat bermanfaat, dan saya merasa sangat beruntung, terutama pada saat COVID-19. Pada program Kampus Merdeka, saya mendapatkan yang saku 1,5jt setiap bulannya, dan mendapatkan keringanan tidak perlu membayar SKS selama 1 semester. Sekolah saya penerima Chromebook tahun 2021, saat itu masih menjadi guru di SMP Aceh. Dalam peran pemanfaatan chromebook, saya mendaftar dalam program Google Master Trainer Level 1 sampai menjadi Google Certified Trainer tahun 2022 melalui legalitas tersebut saya aktif mengimplementasi Chromebook di sekolah saya dan berhasil mengubah pembelajaran dari monoton dan konvensional menjadi digitalisasi serta merubah asesmen berbasis kertas menjadi asesmen berbasis digital. Melatih dan memberdayakan rekan2 sejawat dalam peningkatan kompetensi diri. Dampak implementasi pemanfaatan Chromebook tidak hanya dalam pembelajaran bagi murid tetapi juga bagi guru tidak hanya membantu peningkatan kompetensi diri tetapi juga untuk memudahkan guru dalam menyusun administrasi.

Seiring berjalannya waktu optimalisasi pemanfaatan chromebook tidak hanya berdampak pada satuan pendidikan saya, tetapi juga pada sekolah2 lain. Saya terlibat aktif dalam pemanfaatan chromebook untuk pelatihan TIK bagi sekolah sasaran penerima chromebook mulai jenjang SD sampai SMP di Aceh.

Juga terlibat langsung sebagai mentor dalam melatih guru untuk pembuatan konten pembelajaran digital interaktif dengan pemanfaatan tool gwe dan platform digital lainnya yang terintegrasi dengan akun belajar id.

Sampai saat ini saya konsisten sebagai pengguna aktif chromebook dalam pemanfaatan google workspace for education dalam pembelajaran dan aktifitas interaktif lainnya hingga mengantarkan saya sebagai salah satu peserta champion energizer 2026 yg diselenggaran oleh Google Indonesia minggu lalu.

Peran dalam pemanfaatan chromebook, pada tahun 2022 saya menjadi guru di daerah 3T. Saya menggunakan Chromebook dalam pembelajaran. Saya menggunakan CB dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi statistik. Kemudian pada mata pelajaran informatika kami juga menggunakan CB untuk melatih siswa mengetik dokumen. CB juga kami gunakan untuk ulangan semster dengan mode offline. Laptop kami jadikan server dan CB kami jadikan client dalam ulangan semster. Mode ulangan ini sangat di minati siswa karena tidak berbasis kertas dan mereka bisa langsung melihat hasil ulangan mereka. Para guru juga bisa belajar di PMM dengan CB dengan materi yang ada di flash disk.

Pada tahun 2023 saya menjadi kepala sekolah. Di sekolah ini fasilitas listrik dan internet sudah ada. Saya menggunakan CB dalam pembelajaran terutama menggunakan canva dan google meet dalam pembelajaran. Ulangan juga kami menggunakan mode offline. pada kegiatan P5 kami tema suara demokrasi kami mengadakan pemilihan ketua osis dengan sistem online menggunaka CB. Selain itu Cb juga kami gunakan dalam pelaksanaan AN.

pada tahun 2024 saya di minta untuk membantu di dinas pendidikan. Saya mengawal proses pemanfaatan CB di sekolahs ekolah, kami mengadakan berbagai pelatihan digitalisasi. Data pemanfaatan CB di dasbord juga kami gunakan sebagai dasar sekolah yang aktif dalam penggunaan CB. dengan ada nya dasbord ini memudahkan dinas dalam melakukan monev CB.

Sejak 2022 saya aktif dalam pemanfaatan CB u kebutuhan administrasi sbg guru, dan di 2023 mulai menggunakan CB pada kegiatan pembelajaran dan asesment dengan murid. Selain itu terlibat aktif pada kegiatan pelatihan, baik yang diselenggarakan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, BPMP PB, BGTK PB, Dinas Pendidikan terkait CB untuk rekan sejawat dalam pemanfaatan CB untuk sekolah-sekolah penerima bantuan CB di wilayah Papua Barat dan Papua Barat Daya,

Saya juga melakukan pengimbasan dan berbagi praktik baik pemanfaatan CB ke rekan sejawat di sekolah sendiri maupun di sekolah lain. kami memang Fokus pemanfaatan CB yang terintegrasi dengan akun belajar.id. dan hingga kini CB pun masih kami gunakan dengan baik

Saya Arby W.Mamangsa Kepala SMK Kesehatan Nusantara Kota Sorong, Saya Pernah bertugas sebagai Kepala SMP Nusantara Kota Sorong dari Tahun 2015 sampai Tahun 2024. Tepatnya pada Bulan Juli Tahun 2020 SMP Nusantara Kota Sorong mendapat bantuan CB sebanyak 15 Unit dan itu menjadi awal Transformasi yang luar biasa dalam sejarah hidup saya selaku seorang guru, karena sekolah mengalami perubahan yang sangat signifikan. Sekolah yanag dulu dianggap sekolah buangan dan tidak diperhitungkan kemudian berubah menjadi sekolah pilihan yang kemudian menjadi salah satau sekolah penggerak di Indonesia pada tahun 2021. Pembelajaraan yang disertai dengan penggunaan CB dan akun belajar telah memberikan gairah dan fenomena baru bagi para siswa dilingkungan SMP Nusantara Kota Sorong. Para guru dan siswa mulai mengembangkan diri dengan memanfaatkan CB untuk keperluan belajar dan mengajar. Sejak saat itu SMP Nusantara mulai memberi warna dan dampak bagi sekolah-sekolah di Kota Sorong, dan Tanah Papua melalui berbagai best praktis yang terus kami lakukan sebagai akibat dari pemanfaatan CB dan sekolah penggerak bukan hanya di indonesia tapi di negara negara asia tenggara dan menjadi utusan indonesia pada ivent G 20 di Brasil . Perubahan ini di dasari pada prinsip dasar transformasi mindset utk beradaptasi dengan dengan semua kemajuan. dan karena itulah pemerintah kota sorong kemudian ingin agar perubahan itu terjadi pada skala yang lebih besar di kota sorong dan kemudian saya diangkat menjadi sekretaris dinas pendidikan dan kemudian menjadi Plt Kadis Pendidikan kota Sorong. Saat ini saya kembali memimpin SMK Keshatan Nusantara Kota Sorong dan CB tetap menjadi teman kerja setia saya , bahkan membuat paragraf inipun saya masih tetap menggunakan CB bantuan Pemerintah pada era Pa Nadiem Makarim seorang pemimpin yang Visioner. Trimkasih Pak telah meninspirasi kami untuk berani menerima tantangabn bagi suatu perubahan yang dapat mengubahkan generasi bangsa menuju generasi emas Indonesia.

Chromebook Adalah sebuah inovasi perubahan teknologi dari manual menjadi melek teknologi sejak dini dari sekolah Dasar sampai ahkir hayat, fakta program UN dulu mengunakan kertas memelukan biaya banyak sekarang program ANBK,TKA mengundang teknologi dengan Chromebook menghemat biaya yang lebih banyak dan siswa menjadi paham teknologi sejak dini..Program Sekolah Pengerak,Guru pengerak adalah sebuah program 6ang sangat baik sebenarnya tapi banyak rakyat belum memahami kaum golongan tua ..Program sekolah pengerak dibiayai negara 140 jt sd 150 perlembaga dengan tujuan pengembangan teknologi Pembelajaran yang menyenangkan untuk siswa kalau dilaksanakan dengan kejujuran lembaga itu akan lebih maju dari lembaga yang tidak mendapat biayanya.

Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan dampak yang sangat terasa di sekolah kami. Kami sebagai guru merasa lebih leluasa dalam merancang dan melaksanakan pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa. Tidak lagi sekadar mengikuti pola yang kaku, kami bisa lebih kreatif dan fleksibel dalam menentukan metode, media, serta pendekatan belajar yang relevan.

Dengan kebebasan tersebut, kami juga semakin terdorong untuk terus belajar dan berkembang. Kami tidak hanya mengajar, tetapi juga aktif mencari cara terbaik agar pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna. Ruang untuk bereksplorasi ini membuat kami lebih percaya diri dalam mencoba hal baru, sekaligus saling berbagi praktik baik antar sesama guru di sekolah.

Di sisi lain, kebebasan ini juga diiringi dengan tanggung jawab yang lebih besar. Kami merasa memiliki peran penting, tidak hanya untuk siswa, tetapi juga untuk sekolah, masyarakat, dan diri kami sendiri. I write this letter in my capacity as a former Harvard Business School classmate to Nadiem Makarim, and as a close personal friend of seventeen years. I have known Nadiem since we arrived at HBS together in 2009, where we became close friends. In that time, I have come to know his character, his values, and the quiet conviction that has guided every major decision in his life.

After business school, Nadiem and I both went on to found businesses and our shared entrepreneurial path kept us connected. Throughout those years, Nadiem was someone I turned to for sound advice—not because he would tell me what I wanted to hear, but because I trusted his moral compass and the clarity of his thinking.

When Nadiem made the extraordinary decision to step away from Go-Jek to serve Indonesia as Minister of Education, it confirmed everything I already knew about him. This was not a career move. It was an act of profound personal sacrifice, motivated by a genuine belief that he could help his country.

Beyond his professional life, I know Nadiem as an outstanding husband and father. Our families have remained close throughout the years, and I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the warmth, devotion, and integrity he brings to his family life. The allegations surrounding Nadiem are highly out of character with the man that I know and I find it illogical that he would commit the acts he is being accused of.

Selama Mas Nasdiem menjabat, saya senang sekali karena lingkungan belajar tidak hanya diusahakan untuk murid tapi juga untuk guru. Melalui PMM, saya bisa memahami kurikulum dan implementasinya secara langsung dan hal ini meminimalisir miskonsepsi dalam pelaksanaannya. Tidak hanya itu, akses terhadap buku pelajaran dan pelatihan serta forum-forum belajar bersama guru yang lain juga membantu saya mengajar lebih baik.

Terima kasih Mas Nadiem telah membuat PMM, karena saya bisa mengakses dan belajar materi-materi yang mendukung penyusunan rencana pembelajaran secara fleksibel. Berbeda dengan sebelumnya, dimana untuk mendapat pelatihan harus datang jauh ke kota atau ke Jakarta. Melalui PMM, saya bisa belajar kapan saja dan dimana saja sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan waktu yang saya miliki.

Kami tinggal di daerah terpencil yang jaringan naik turun. Namun dengan bantuan Chrome Book, kami tetap bisa mengakses alat digital karena bisa digunakan dalam keadaan tanpa sinyal atau offline. Saya jadi bisa menunjukkan ke anak-anak bagaimana belajar secara digital.

Chromebook menjadi perangkat yang benar-benar membantu saya sebagai guru dalam menjalankan berbagai aktivitas pembelajaran. Tidak hanya saat mengajar di kelas, tetapi juga ketika saya harus mengikuti pelatihan di luar sekolah, saya tetap bisa terhubung dan berpartisipasi dengan optimal karena memiliki alat kerja digital yang praktis dan mudah digunakan.

Dengan Chromebook, saya bisa mengakses materi, mengerjakan tugas, hingga berkolaborasi secara daring tanpa kendala berarti. Hal ini membuat proses pengembangan diri sebagai guru tetap berjalan, tanpa harus meninggalkan tanggung jawab utama dalam mendampingi peserta didik.

Saya terima kasih dengan adanya kebijakan-kebijakan yang siginifikan dari Bapak Nadiem Makarim selama menjabat. Di antaranya program Guru Penggerak dan Kurikulum Merdeka. Program-program ini mendorong saya sebagai guru harus belajar lebih cepat dan mengikuti zaman.

Masifnya penggunaan AI saat ini membuat saya bersyukur telah mendapatkan Chrome Book beberapa tahun lalu. Setidaknya, saya punya pengetahuan tentang dunia digital, dan bisa mengikuti perkembangan zaman dalam menyusun rencana pembelajaran.

Kebijakan yang progresif di bidang pendidikan membantu sekolah saya lebih siap menghadapi era digital yang semakin masif. Kami sebagai guru jadi lebih siap untuk menghadapi anak murid yang lebih melek digital.

Saya merasa terbantu sekali dengan adanya ChromeBook karena saya dan guru-guru lain jadi terdorong mengembangkan skill dalam mengajar dengan pendekatan digital. Sebelumnya kami di sekolah mengajar dengan cara jadul, konvensional. Tanpa ChromeBook, mungkin sampai saat ini saya masih mengajar dengan metode lama.

I have known Nadiem for more than fifteen years, across his academic life, his entrepreneurial journey, and his public service. In that time, I have had an uniquely close vantage point into his character, his values, and his unwavering commitment to Indonesia.

Across business or academia, I have rarely encountered someone that combines intellectual rigor, moral clarity, and humility in the way that Nadiem does. Nadiem’s contributions to Indonesia are both profound and widely recognized. As the co-founder of GoJek, he helped build one of Southeast Asia’s most transformative technology platforms—expanding economic access, empowering millions of drivers and small businesses, and placing Indonesia firmly on the global innovation map. Yet, what stands out even more is his decision to step away from this success to serve his country. This was not a symbolic transition that required courage and sacrifice for the greater good.

Beyond his accomplishments, it is Nadiem’s integrity that has and will always define him. He is a person of exceptional ethical grounding—transparent in decision-making, principled under pressure, and motivated not by personal gain but by a genuine desire to create lasting societal impact. In my years of interactions with him, I have never observed behavior that would remotely suggest impropriety, corruption, or abuse of power. To the contrary, he has consistently held himself to the absolute highest standards of integrity and transparency — standards far higher than what is typically expected in public life or even in business.

The current circumstances surrounding his imprisonment are deeply troubling and fundamentally inconsistent with the individual I know. It is difficult to reconcile these allegations with a person who has demonstrated such a sustained pattern of integrity, sacrifice, and service at the highest levels.

I respectfully urge all relevant authorities and stakeholders to consider the totality of Nadiem Makarim’s life, work, and character. He is not only a transformational leader but also a deeply principled individual whose contributions have strengthened Indonesia’s institutions and global standing. I offer this statement with full conviction and stand ready to provide any further information or clarification that may be helpful.

Kata siapa murid di kelas tidak boleh main game? Sejak adanya Chromebook di sekolah kami, saya justru memanfaatkannya sebagai media pembelajaran yang seru dan interaktif. Salah satunya melalui platform seperti gimkit.com, di mana murid-murid bisa belajar sambil bermain game edukatif. Mereka terlihat lebih antusias, aktif menjawab soal, dan tidak merasa sedang “belajar” dalam arti yang membosankan. saya Adalah Guru Matematika kelas 7 di salah satu SMP di Lampung Barat. Didiklah siswa dengan cara yang sesuai dengan tuntutan alam dan zamannya sendiri. Salah satunya pemanfaatan teknologi yaitu chromebook bantuan pemerintah dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar termasuk dalam kegiatan asesmen Formatif dengan memanfaatkan Quizizz dan akun belajar.

Quizizz dipilih karena fitur yang tersedia mudah dimanfaatkan oleh siswa melalu chromebook yang telah ada di sekolah. Ditiap soal baik dijawab dengan benar atau salah, disediakan animasi yang menarik sebagai apresiasi atas jawaban yang telah diberikan. Tampilan ini menjadikan asesmen Formatif matematika bukanlah hal yang menakutkan. Walaupun jawaban salah, siswa akan terhibur karena animasi dan sound yang diberikan. Sedangkan bagi yang menjawab benar, siswa akan termotivasi untuk meningkatkan lagi pengetahuannya.

Guru-guru di morowali, utamanya di sekolah sy, aktif menggunakan chromebook, kebanyakan adalah google master trainer (GCE) yang mendapatkan pelatihan dari tim Google untuk memanfaatkan chromebbook menggunakan apilikasi google seperti gform, word, gsheet, google class room, dll

Aplikasi-aplikasi ini sangat memudahkan guru-guru untuk belajar dan memanfaatkan untuk kegiatan di kelas. Aplagi dengan adanya bantuan chromebook, tentunya lebih maksimal lagi dalam pemanfaatannya

Mengikuti Program Guru Penggerak menjadi salah satu pengalaman paling berkesan dalam perjalanan saya sebagai seorang pendidik. Saya berkesempatan mengikuti program ini pada angkatan 11, yang berlangsung dari Juni hingga Desember 2024.

Sejak awal, saya sudah merasakan sesuatu yang berbeda. Proses rekrutmen yang transparan dan fair memberikan kesan bahwa program ini benar-benar menjunjung tinggi kualitas dan integritas. Hal ini menumbuhkan rasa percaya dan semangat untuk mengikuti setiap tahapannya dengan sungguh-sungguh.

Materi yang disajikan sangat relevan, praktis, dan dekat dengan realitas di kelas. Bahkan, beberapa materi belum pernah saya dapatkan saat kuliah di jurusan PGSD. Namun justru di situlah letak kekuatannya—materi yang diberikan benar-benar yang dibutuhkan guru di lapangan.

Saya menyadari bahwa menjadi guru bukan sekadar menyampaikan materi, tetapi bagaimana kita mampu memahami murid, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang berpihak pada mereka, serta terus bertumbuh sebagai pembelajar sepanjang hayat.

Program ini juga memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna. Diskusi, kolaborasi, hingga refleksi menjadi bagian penting yang membuat prosesnya terasa mendalam. Tidak pernah sebelumnya saya mengikuti pelatihan guru yang dirancang sekomprehensif dan sebermakna ini.

Bagi saya, Program Guru Penggerak bukan hanya sekadar pelatihan, tetapi sebuah perjalanan transformasi. Perjalanan yang menguatkan peran saya sebagai guru untuk terus bergerak, belajar, dan memberikan yang terbaik bagi peserta didik.

Di akhir perjalanan ini, saya merasa jika ada program pelatihan seperti ini lagi, maka program ini sangat layak untuk dihadirkan kembali. Karena dampaknya benar-benar nyata dan dirasakan langsung oleh guru.

Setiap hari selasa, saya dan sebagian kecil peserta didik kelas IV, V, dan VI SD Negeri 2 Sirandu mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakulikuler desain grafis. Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu dari progam pendukung sekolah dalam Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka khususnya di SD Kami.

Dengan memanfaatkan chromebook yang dimiliki oleh sekolah dan aplikasi Canva for Education, peserta didik yang ikut ekstrakulikuler ini belajar tentang prinsip dasar desain grafis, belajar membuat desain grafis seperti: poster, infografis, dsb. Program ekstrakulikuler ini bertujuan mengembangkan kreatifitas dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Selain itu, kegiatan ini merupakan wujud kesadaran kami dalam menghadapi era revolusi industri 4.0 yang menuntut kita untuk “melek teknologi”. Kegiatan ini dapat berjalan, tidak lepas dari dukungan Kemendikbud Ristek yang telah memberikan email belajar.id kepada peserta didik, guru dan tenaga kependidikan, sehingga kami dapat memanfaatkan beberapa fitur-fitur premium yang ada di aplikasi Canva.

Dengan dukungan Kurikulum Merdeka, kegiatan ini dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna bagi peserta didik.

Pelaksanaan ANBK di sekolah saya menjadi semakin lancar berkat adanyaChromebook sebagai perangkat utama ujian. Dengan Chromebook, siswa dapat mengerjakan asesmen secara digital dengan lebih mudah, cepat, dan minim kendala teknis, sehingga mereka bisa lebih fokus pada kemampuan literasi dan numerasi yang diujikan.

Selain itu, penggunaan Chromebook juga membantu sekolah dalam menciptakan lingkungan ujian yang tertib, efisien, dan terintegrasi dengan sistem pusat.

Kami di kelas sering memanfaatkan akun belajar.id untuk mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran. Dengan adanya bantuan Chromebook di sekolah, kami jadi lebih mudah mengakses berbagai platform pembelajaran digital. Misalnya, kami menggunakan Canva untuk membuat presentasi atau poster belajar yang menarik, serta Quizizz untuk kuis interaktif yang membuat suasana belajar lebih seru. Banyak juga platform lain yang bisa diakses, bahkan beberapa di antaranya menyediakan versi pro melalui akun belajar.id. Karena itu, kami merasa sayang sekali jika fasilitas yang sudah tersedia tidak dimanfaatkan secara maksimal untuk membuat pembelajaran lebih kreatif dan menyenangkan.

Penguatan ekosistem dan tata kelola di era mas menteri saya kira sangat terasa bagi kami yang suka akan perubahan. Penataan sistem pelatihan lewat program guru penggerak yang berdampak baik bagi perkembangan pola pikir guru. Sistem tata kelola kepala sekolah lewat sistem yang memangkas kepengingan2 politik daerah. PMM yang memudahkan guru dalam belajar berkomunitas dan berkarya. Sistem pengelolaan kinerja terintegrasi yang memudahkan dan meminimalisir kecurangan dan korupsi. Selain itu melalui byk program ekosistem belajar di lingkungan pendidikan mulai tertata. Suara guru sering menjadi semangat bagi dinas dalam belajar dan berkarya bersama. Sistem raport pendidikan membuat perencanaan menjadi lebih baik, data yang transparan dan di integrasikan dengan tata kelola kinerja dan anggaran. Saya merasa tidak ada menteri yang luar biasa berani mengusik ketenangan daerah dalam mengelola pendidikan. Sistem monitoring Chromebook lewat cdm juga terbukti bisa meningkatkan produktivitas penggunaa dengan evaluasi berbasis data dan berkelanjutan. Semoga semua program baik bisa di lanjutkan. Dan apabila ada kekurangan bisa di refleksikan dan di perbaiki bersma.

Pemanfaatan Chromebook di sekolah kami sangat membantu guru dalam melakukan asesmen diagnostik untuk mengecek gaya belajar siswa. Melalui Chromebook, siswa dapat mengisi pertanyaan sederhana secara online sehingga guru bisa mengetahui apakah siswa lebih mudah belajar secara visual, auditori, atau kinestetik. Hasilnya langsung terlihat dan memudahkan guru menyesuaikan metode pembelajaran agar lebih tepat sasaran. Terima kasih atas adanya Chromebook di sekolah, karena perangkat ini membuat proses pengecekan kebutuhan belajar siswa menjadi lebih cepat, praktis, dan mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih efektif.

The Chromebooks introduced during Minister Nadiem Makarim's administration have had a positive impact on our students at school. They are not only used for distribution but also for end-of-semester assessments and final exams. They are still used by students during the TKA (Teacher's Work Experience) program. They are also used to facilitate students' study of OSN (National Science Olympiad) questions and to write scientific papers for the FLS3N (National Science and Technology Student League).

There have been many excellent programs during Mr. Nadiem's era. With the existence of the Guru Penggerak program, the enthusiasm of teachers to continuously advance and grow is increasingly fervent. There is healthy and positive competition to participate in the program. For the PMM platform, especially the Independent Training menu, which requires teachers to implement practical actions after studying several modules on the selected training topic, which will later be validated. If it meets the requirements and passes, they will receive a certificate. As a result, teachers who were previously not tech-savvy and inactive are now becoming more proactive in independently learning through PMM. Furthermore, regarding Performance Management, teachers are also required to provide certificate evidence according to the selected indicators, ensuring they take responsibility for their chosen actions to accumulate points and submit certificates in accordance with requirements.

As the principal and a Google Certified Trainer, I firmly believe that the limitation of facilities is not an impediment for students to receive equal rights to digital literacy. At our school, the Chromebook devices provided by the ministry during the era of Minister Nadiem Makarim have not yet been independently available. However, through the spirit of collaboration among educational units, we took the initiative to borrow these devices from neighboring schools, to provide a real learning experience for sixth-grade students in preparation for the Academic Ability Test (AAT). Our philosophy is simple: even though these devices are not owned by the school, their transformative benefits must be shared by all the nation's children.
This training activity is not merely a simulation of answering questions, but a bridge for students to become familiar with the technology ecosystem of the future. In this session, students learn to navigate the devices technically, from using the responsive touchpad to mastering the unique keyboard layout of Chromebooks that differs from conventional laptops. The transformation is evident as their initial hesitation gradually turns into dexterity. By presenting the physical devices in front of them, students can focus on the substance of the questions on the AAT day rather than the technical obstacles of the devices.
The impact of this initiative goes beyond test result numbers; it fosters confidence and equality for our students. Seeing their enthusiasm as they explore Chromebooks, I realized that the role of the principal as a learning leader is to be a motivator capable of optimizing the nation's assets for the benefit of students. This best practice demonstrates that synergy and mutual cooperation between schools are the main keys in accelerating digital education transformation in Indonesia. Technology may only be a tool, but the courage to introduce these tools into the classroom is a real step towards embracing the future.

I am a teacher in a small town where sometimes access to information regarding new policies or programs from the ministry is hardly heard or even very limited. However, this changed when the Merdeka Curriculum was introduced among us. At that time, access to information was very easy to find thanks to the advanced technology integrated into one application called PMM (Platform Merdeka Mengajar). This cool breakthrough originated from the brilliant idea of Minister Nadiem Makarim, who was then serving as the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. Many conveniences and changes in mindset have occurred. The impact is felt both at the school and personally. Teachers are no longer burdened by various administrative tasks. Everything is available in PMM; more impressively, PMM enables us to be increasingly impactful because there is a learning community feature that allows us as teachers to share best practices and expand our network with fellow colleagues. This has indeed increased my belief that teachers are not only confined to their classrooms, but the positive things they discover in the classroom can transform other classrooms across Indonesia. No longer lagging behind, no longer lacking information, and no longer running out of ideas. Since then, I have become empowered, with more fellow teachers willing to share their best practices in school. We have come to understand the true meaning of collaboration and real action. Teachers and students are empowered, and schools have a tangible impact on their surroundings. Thank you, Minister, for the many good things I have gained during your tenure.

In my opinion, the policies established by Mr. Nadiem Makarim for the education sector are very commendable. They bring significant improvements to the quality of Indonesian education. One exemplary policy that greatly aids teachers is the "Simplification of Lesson Plans," which significantly eases the administrative burden on teachers. This allows teachers to focus more on teaching. It does not mean that teachers lack planning; rather, they have more freedom to craft plans tailored to their needs. The focus of teaching will also be centered on the students.

Furthermore, the "Teacher Motivator Education" policy, in my view, is an excellent program. It encourages teachers to develop their competencies as learning leaders, finding independent and autonomous solutions to the problems faced by students. Thus, the learning focus is solely on the students and honors the method of learning used by Ki Hadjar Dewantara. This policy benefits teachers in terms of teaching methods, valuing students, and enhancing the quality of education and the school itself. As learning leaders developed in the teacher motivator program, teachers gain the skills to design simple, asset-based programs available at schools. They don't see shortcomings as weaknesses but as strengths. Hence, the programs are asset-based, which can improve the quality of schools. The growth mindset of teachers continues to evolve.

When friends use Chromebooks for performance management, I'm reminded of the significant changes we have experienced in the world of education. Chromebooks are highly beneficial in our school. They are not just devices but have become a bridge of ease for us, the teachers, to conduct classroom learning, assist in performance management and digital learning, and support students in interactive quizzes and ANBK implementation. All these benefits are realized thanks to the vision and student-centered learning. To this day, Chromebooks remain valuable tools that support the advancement of learning in our school.

Learning using Chromebook greatly helps in learning activities in the classroom. Students become easier to find information because they can access the internet and various educational applications. They can also learn in a more interesting way, such as watching learning videos, completing assignments online, and creating digital works. This makes students more enthusiastic, independent, and brave to try new things.

For teachers, Chromebook also makes teaching easier. Teachers can create more varied learning, such as project assignments, presentations, and online quizzes. In addition, teachers can monitor student work more quickly and practically. With the use of Chromebook, the teaching and learning process becomes more interactive, enjoyable, and helps improve student creativity.

As an Informatics teacher in the era of Nadiem Makarim, I directly feel how the presence of the Informatics subject becomes an important foundation in building students’ digital literacy while also encouraging a learning process that is more relevant to the development of the times. The strengthening of digitalization policy is also seen from the encouragement of technology utilization through various platforms, including Platform Merdeka Mengajar which makes it easier for teachers to access references, training, and teaching tools in one ecosystem. My involvement in the Guru Penggerak program further clarifies the direction of this transformation, with a structured development system that impacts the increasing enthusiasm of teachers to continue to grow, innovate, and present more meaningful learning for students.

In practice, Guru Penggerak has become a driving force for change in the school environment. Many teachers who previously carried out conventional learning have now begun to transform into facilitators who are able to create an active, collaborative, and contextual learning atmosphere. Learning is no longer only focused on delivering material, but also on developing students’ character, creativity, and critical thinking skills.

More than that, the impact of this program does not stop in each teacher’s classroom. One of the main strengths of Guru Penggerak is the culture of sharing best practices. Teachers who previously only had an impact on their own students have now begun to share experiences, strategies, and learning innovations with colleagues. This opens up wide opportunities for collaboration and accelerates the spread of effective learning practices across schools.

Facts in the field show that teacher learning communities are becoming more active. Professional discussions, joint reflection, and self-development activities are becoming part of teachers’ work culture. Thus, competency improvement is no longer individual, but collective and sustainable.

The Guru Penggerak program also plays an important role in building learning leadership among teachers. Teachers are not only implementers of policy, but also agents of change who are able to identify student needs, design solutions, and drive the education ecosystem around them.

The Guru Penggerak program initiated during the era of Nadiem has become a great hope for teachers who want to learn. Graduates of this program have strong learning leadership abilities. It is not wrong if they become a priority as learning leaders in schools or for appointment as supervisors in education units, especially for those who have passed the competency test. Actually, alumni of the Guru Penggerak program only need strengthening when becoming BCKS or BCPS. This is because the learning materials are the same. Only a few materials require strengthening.

The programs offered are highly relevant to educational needs. Especially teachers, through the Motivating Teacher Program, become inspired to continue innovating with a positive paradigm built during the training. The comprehensive features, including the Learning Community through the Independent Teaching Platform, also serve as a forum for teachers to continuously cultivate their teaching spirit and inspire others.

Since Chromebooks were distributed in educational units, they have had an extraordinary impact and benefit for me as one of the digital transformation agents in my educational unit and region. This tangible impact is directly felt by students and teachers. Starting from having a Chromebook led me to become a Google Certified Trainer For Education Champion and I am still active to this day, and Chromebooks have become a crucial digital tool in education, with its impact continuing to this day. I have utilized Chromebooks not just for classroom learning, but they have made an impact for teachers and other educational units in North Aceh Regency in developing digital competencies, especially the utilization of Chromebooks in North Aceh Regency through the support and digital programs of the North Aceh Regency education office. Thankfully, on April 6-7, I received an invitation from Google as a Google Champion Energizer 2026 at the Google Jakarta Office. Endless thanks to Mr. Nadiem, for he has shaped me into one of the supervisors who have grown to this day through his cool programs starting from GP Batch 1, Practical Instructor Batch 9, and Active Kombel Mover from 2022 until now, and becoming a Google Certified Trainer.

Every Tuesday is a moment eagerly awaited by some of the students in grades IV, V, and VI at the elementary school where I teach. They participate in extracurricular graphic design activities with full enthusiasm and a passion for learning.

Equipped with Chromebooks provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and the Canva for Education application, students are introduced to the world of graphic design in an enjoyable manner. They learn to create posters, infographics, and various other visual artworks. It's not just about learning; they are also free to express their ideas and creativity.

The use of Chromebooks offers many positive benefits. Students become more independent in learning, accustomed to collaborating with peers, and increasingly adept at using technology wisely. This activity also helps boost their confidence as they produce works that can be appreciated by others.

Amid the developments in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, this activity becomes a concrete step in preparing students not only to be technology users but also able to create through technology. Support from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology through the belajar.id accounts enriches the learning experience with access to various premium Canva features.

Ultimately, the use of Chromebooks in this activity provides tangible benefits, offering more interactive, creative, and relevant learning experiences that meet contemporary needs, while equipping students with essential digital skills for their future.

Amidst the dynamic development of education at our school, the presence of Chromebooks has become one of the important factors that drives the transformation of learning towards being better, effective, and inclusive.

Since its initial use, Chromebooks have not only functioned as technological devices but also as a means for improving the competence of teachers. Through these devices, teachers can participate in various training sessions, access digital learning resources, and enhance their skills in integrating technology into the learning process. This has a positive impact on the quality of classroom teaching, where teachers are able to present materials more variably, interactively, and relevantly according to contemporary needs.

In learning activities, Chromebooks are used to introduce technology directly to students. Students do not only learn theoretically, but also gain practical experience using various educational applications. This process helps improve students' digital literacy and fosters a higher interest in learning through innovative teaching methods.

Moreover, Chromebooks provide significant benefits for teachers at our school, particularly for those who do not own personal devices like laptops. With this facility, teachers can still carry out their professional duties, including completing the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) successfully. This demonstrates that Chromebooks play a role in supporting equitable access to technology within the school environment.

In the implementation of the Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK), Chromebooks serve as the primary devices that support the smooth running of activities. The entire assessment process can proceed more orderly, efficiently, and in accordance with established standards. Similarly, in the implementation of the Academic Competency Test (TKA), Chromebooks are again optimally utilized as a medium for digital-based exams.

Beyond internal utilization, our school also strives to foster values of care and collaboration among educational units. This is realized through lending Chromebooks to a nearby elementary school (SD) that has not yet received similar device assistance. With this support, students from the SD can conduct ANBK and TKA at our school.

Even though they have to walk to school, the enthusiasm for learning among the SD students remains high. Their presence at our school is a vivid illustration that limitations are not a barrier to obtaining a proper education. This moment not only provides valuable experiences for the students but also serves as a reminder for us of the importance of sharing and supporting each other in the educational world.

Thus, the use of Chromebooks at our school has had a widespread impact, not only in improving the quality of learning and teacher professionalism but also in strengthening the values of collaboration and social care.

Allow me to introduce myself as a teacher in Indonesia. I am writing this letter not on behalf of any organization or group, but in the name of conscience and direct witnessing in the field after years of serving in the education world. I wish to convey the truth about the leadership of Mr. Nadiem Makarim as the Minister of Education. Under his leadership, Indonesian education has experienced extraordinary advancements. I say this because I have seen, felt, and witnessed firsthand how his programs have had positive impacts on us as teachers and on our students.

What I have witnessed in Mr. Nadiem's era:
1. Thousands of schools were built and upgraded to become Centers of Excellence (CoE) and Vocational High Schools 4.0. Our schools now have adequate facilities relevant to industrial needs.
2. Millions of teachers have been appointed as non-civil service government employees (ASN PPPK). I am one of the teachers who waited for years for my status to be secured, and only in Mr. Nadiem's era has this dream been realized. We are finally recognized and valued.
3. Millions of teachers have been certified and received fair wages. These are not empty figures. This is our life that has changed. A decent salary allows us to focus on teaching without the worry of everyday needs.
4. The Driving Teacher Program, Driving School Program, and Principal Driving Program. All these programs are designed to improve the quality of education from its roots. Not merely ceremonial, but truly changing the way we teach and lead in our classes and school environments.
5. The Microcredential program from top universities worldwide. Teachers like us are given the opportunity to study at the world's best universities. This is a dream that was previously unimaginable. Even meeting and learning directly from a Harvard University Professor, which all teachers from Sabang to Merauke can experience.
6. Merdeka Learning and College Education Program (KIP). Millions of scholarships are distributed to underserved children. Millions of Indonesian children can pursue higher education because of this. As a vocational high school teacher who encounters many dropout students, in Mr. Nadiem's era, KIP scholarships are provided generously at every educational level from elementary, middle to vocational high schools, making education affordable and accessible to the underprivileged.

Regarding the issue widely discussed:
Indeed, there is a Chromebook procurement program. My school did not receive any. But I want to clarify: a technical failure in one program is not the same as corruption. That is the difference. There is a fundamental difference between:
- A Corruptor: someone whose heart is truly evil, deliberately taking public money, scheming fraudulent scenarios from the start, and enriching themselves.
- Mr. Nadiem: a hardworking individual who may have had a work accident, failed in executing a single program, but his goals are noble, his commitment real, and the positive impact in other fields far greater.

Many other government programs also have problems, like the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) which is not yet perfectly implemented, or the Fast Train Whoosh that once received criticism. Does that mean our leaders are evil? No. It means that nation-building is complex, sometimes failing, sometimes imperfect, but the goal is the same: to provide the best for the people. The same applies to Chromebooks. The execution may have failed, there may be issues. But look at the intention: bringing cutting-edge technology to schools, at a high cost, for the advancement of the nation's children. It is a good intention that we should appreciate.

My conclusion as a teacher:
Many parliament members have failed to work. Many other officials only talk without result. But Mr. Nadiem? He is not a failed minister. He is a hardworking minister, creating major programs and bringing real change. One imperfect program cannot erase thousands of other successful programs that touch millions of teachers and students. I stand here, in front of Your Honor, as a living witness that education in Indonesia during Mr. Nadiem Makarim's era is an era of progress. Not an era of regression. Not an era of failure.

The use of Chromebook is very much felt by us in remote areas. Chromebook really helps teachers and students in learning. In our school, which is located in a remote area, we often experience network disruptions, so we often use Chromebook offline in learning, through Google Docs, Sites, and Worksheets. The results of using Chromebook have an impact on learning. Students become able to understand typing and complete assignments through Chromebook. Thank you Mr. Nadiem for your struggle for education in Indonesia.

1. Guru Penggerak - Producing Learning Leaders
Through intensive training equivalent to 306 JP, I not only learn about pedagogy, but also about changes in mindset. I learn that being a teacher means being a leader who is able to move the community. The real competence from Guru Penggerak that I feel is that I am able to map student needs. The certificate that I obtained is not just a piece of paper, but a strategic key that opens opportunities to become a principal or supervisor in the future. What I feel now is no longer ‘spoon-feeding’ material, but triggering students’ curiosity through student-centered learning.

2. PMM - Digital Compass in Hand
If Guru Penggerak is the ‘engine’, then Platform Merdeka Mengajar is the ‘fuel’. I no longer feel alone in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. Through the Teaching Tools feature, I find thousands of modules that can be adapted to the characteristics of my school. Self Training: during break time, I improve my skills through short practical videos, without having to leave the class for seminars for days. I started uploading my best practices in PMM, inspiring thousands of other teachers throughout Indonesia. ‘In the past I felt teaching was an administrative burden. Now, thanks to Guru Penggerak and PMM, teaching is a creative adventure. We no longer work alone, we are part of a national learning community.’

Why must we support this policy? Support for these two pillars is a long-term investment for the nation. This synergy ensures that:

1. Teachers are appreciated professionally through competency improvement and clear career paths.
2. The gap in education quality decreases, because teachers in remote areas have access to the same quality materials as teachers in big cities through PMM.
3. Students become the winners, because they are educated by teachers who are happy, empowered, and relevant to the times.

Let us continue to guard this transformation. Because when teachers move, Indonesia moves forward. What has been carved by Mr. Nadiem Makarim, a good person and an extraordinary Minister of Education.

During 2019–2020, there was a transformation in patterns of daily life. COVID-19 changed social life, including in the education environment. At the school level, the learning process had to continue even though it was conducted remotely. To support this, media or tools were needed to help achieve learning objectives. The provision of Chromebooks offered a smart solution for schools in implementing distance and digital learning. The assistance of 15 Chromebook units has driven changes in both student and teacher competencies, especially in exploring learning, accessing broader materials, and developing other competencies related to digital education. So far, the school has experienced many positive impacts from this support.

In addition to serving as learning tools, Chromebooks, as products integrated with Google, have helped our school collaborate with global classrooms effectively. Students are now able, within school regulations, to use Chromebooks freely in their daily activities. This allows them to explore, practice, and expand their knowledge independently through the devices. Therefore, we can conclude that the value and benefits of Chromebooks are highly representative and meaningful for the school up to this point.

Assalamualaikum wr. wb. My name is Ahmad Effendi, an elementary school teacher in Surabaya. I would like to share my thoughts regarding education programs during Mr. Nadiem’s tenure as Minister. These programs have had a very positive impact on the sustainability of education, as well as creating significant positive changes in our school. Among them are the Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) and the Guru Penggerak program. From these programs, I feel happy because there have been significant changes in the teaching and learning process. The success rate of our school programs has also improved. Through PMM, we teachers can learn almost every day and gain new knowledge. PMM consistently offers collaboration, independence, and reflection. In my opinion, this is a good program that truly helps us understand what “freedom” means. We cannot say education will improve if we do not understand what freedom is, and through PMM, we teachers truly understand what it means to be independent, both for teachers and for students.

From both PMM and the Guru Penggerak program, these are highly relevant initiatives. Through the Guru Penggerak program, Mr. Nadiem always talks about change, even small change. The program is extraordinary and opens our eyes as teachers. The concept of independent education is our shared goal. By revisiting the ideas of Ki Hajar Dewantara, we truly understand that education must be student-centered. This meaning is simple, but I only fully understood it after joining the Guru Penggerak program. I can now differentiate and provide appropriate treatment for students in terms of teaching and learning methods that are better. I believe that if the Guru Penggerak program is reactivated, many teachers across the country will be interested, regardless of certificates and others. What is clear is that the program builds intrinsic motivation for teachers to continue learning and changing. I hope what I have shared can be heard and become input for all of us, that the presence of Mr. Nadiem has brought many positive changes to education in this country.

Focus on "Independent Learning" which transforms education through a flexible curriculum and digitalization. It is student-centered, flexible, and emphasizes character development through P5. It provides teachers with the opportunity to develop their potential through the MGMP learning community.

I am the Principal at SD Negeri 5 Palu. Prior to leading this school, I also led another school that had already utilized Chromebooks as part of the learning process. I have carried those experiences to the school I lead now, even as I approach the end of my service in the field of education. To me, the presence of technology in education is not merely a tool, but a bridge for schools to adapt to the changing times. One particularly memorable experience was when our school began to utilize Chromebooks more seriously in teaching and learning activities.

Currently, SD Negeri 5 Palu has become a candidate for the first Google Reference School in the city of Palu at the elementary school level. This achievement did not happen overnight, but through a long process of building a learning culture that is adaptive to technology. Chromebooks have brought many positive changes to our school. For teachers, these devices open up greater opportunities to develop professional competencies. Teachers can utilize various digital learning platforms, access more diverse learning resources, and enhance creativity in presenting material to students. The learning process becomes more interactive and is no longer confined to textbooks alone.

Meanwhile, for students, Chromebooks serve as a medium to foster creativity and digital literacy. Children are not merely users of technology; they also begin learning to be creators. They write stories, create digital literacy works, explore information, and even confidently present their ideas. I have witnessed firsthand how students become more enthusiastic about learning, more daring in expressing themselves, and acquire skills relevant to future needs. This transformation also impacts the school culture. We understand that today's education demands schools to boldly adapt, innovate, and continuously learn. Technologies like Chromebooks help us build a learning ecosystem that is more open, collaborative, and relevant to global developments. Thus, I personally feel that the digital education transformation policy once driven by Mr. Nadiem Makarim as the Minister of Education has had a real impact on our school.

This policy opens opportunities for schools to access technology, enhances teacher competencies, and prepares students to face an increasingly digital future.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am one of the thousands of elementary school teachers who stand in front of the class every day, directly facing the future of this nation. Amidst the bustling news about the legal case involving you related to the procurement of Chromebooks, allow me
to present testimony from our perspective on the frontlines of education. For many people in Jakarta, perhaps Chromebooks are merely "projects" or "numbers." However, for us at school, these devices are a breath of fresh air.

Mr. Nadiem, we still vividly remember the darkness of digital literacy before this program existed. Previously, computer-based exams were a luxury only for elite schools. But, through the digitalization program you initiated:
1. We Surpassed Boundaries: We successfully passed the ANBK 2024 and 2025 with our heads held high. Our students are no longer technologically illiterate. Even now, in the year 2026, those Chromebooks remain loyal companions as the children take the TKA (Academic Competency Test).
2. Sustained Quality: Many criticize its specifications, but the fact is, to this day, the devices remain durable, fast, and have very minimal virus disruptions. This is the most efficient work tool we have ever received from the state.
3. Real Equity: For the first time, children in remote areas experience the same technology as children in big cities. Hearing accusations that this program "harms the country," we feel something is amiss. How could a policy, whose benefits we hold every day, which makes our students digitally smart, be called a detriment? If this is considered a mistake, then it is the "mistake" most appreciated by teachers in the region.

We may not understand complex legal matters or debates in courtrooms. However, we have eyes to see and hearts to feel. We see that our children can now access the window to the world with just one click. That is not a loss, Sir. It is a human investment. We sincerely hope that justice is truly upheld without any forced interests.
Do not let this commotion extinguish the spirit of educational transformation, which we have begun to enjoy the fruits of. Thank you, Mr. Nadiem, for daring to dream for our education. We continue teaching, we continue using those Chromebooks, and we continue praying for the best for the truth.

I, a student at SMKN 1 Marau in class XI MPLB, have a hobby of writing ranging from fairy tales, legends, stories, novels, short stories, to poetry. I have pursued this hobby for a long time, starting from grade 5 in elementary school, continuing through junior high school, and now, in vocational high school. Currently, at SMKN 1 Marau, I am planning to participate in a short story writing competition by typing according to a specified time set by the committee. I am required to practice typing because this competition will be conducted by typing using media such as a computer or laptop. However, the issue is I do not own a laptop because I am not financially capable, but after darkness comes light.

I found a solution by practicing using the facilities provided by the school, namely a Chromebook. I feel very supported by this facility, allowing me to practice freely without worry. I am very grateful for this facility. Whoever provided such facilities to support the school, it is very useful to help students, especially those from less fortunate backgrounds. I hope facilities like this continue to exist in the future to support future generations, to support their careers and develop their skills, especially in writing and imagining creating interesting stories.

Platform Merdeka Mengajar, commonly referred to as PMM, is a platform that enables teachers to better understand the growth and development of education in accordance to changing era and evolving needs of students. As a teacher who was previously unfamiliar with digital technology, PMM allows me to independently learn and share best practices to support fellow teachers and schools across Indonesia. Through this platform, we can solve and find solutions to educational challenges using references from the available independent training modules. Furthermore, PMM also facilitates interaction and professional networking among teachers across Indonesia without limitation, including through the conduct of webinars among learning communities nationwide, all of which are supported and facilitated through the application.

However, for some teachers who remain in their comfort zones, PMM presents a challenge, as adaptation requires a degree of time and adjustment. Nevertheless, participation in the platform is entirely voluntary and driven by individual awareness and initiative rather than obligation. As a true teacher, I'm proud to be a teacher who can adapt to these changing times and era. Moreover, the Chromebooks received by schools and educational institutaions (for those who have received them, as our school doesn't have any) have certainly been a significant aid in the digitalization of education and the implementation of the National Assessment and Assessment (ANBK).
